MANUFACTURING
The days of hand crafted jewelry from beginning to end has vanished. Allowing an innovative sate of the art technology to appear, making the finish product unbelievably stunning.

MATRIX 3D (CAD) PROGRAM
Although a sketch is excellent for you the customer to help explain your creations, they are now received by our skilled jewelry designers and transferred over to a Matrix 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) expert to be laid out and rendered. Rendering is a virtual-on screen color image of the product that can be sent to you via email or fax. Our designers remain in communication with the customer throughout the design/manufacturing process. Once a design is approved, it’s passed on to our Milling (CAM) System. All CAD designers are trained in Gemvision’s Matrix software, and Milling Systems

MILLING (CAM) SYSTEM
The manufacturing process begins by transferring the design from Matrix (CAD) to a Multiple-axis milling CAM (Computer aided manufacturing) System to mill the wax. The wax is perfectly cut by the milling machine but will require removal from the holding device, cleaned up and finished. A final inspection for parameters is made before casting. After the waxes are finished a molding is made. Then they’re sprued for casting. (Spruing. Once the wax copy looks just like the original artwork, it is "sprued" with a treelike structure of wax that will eventually provide paths for molten bronze to flow, while allowing air to escape. The carefully-planned spruing usually begins at the top with a wax "cup," which is attached by wax cylinders to various points on the wax copy.) This state of the art system assist in manufactures a superior quality, and innovative finish product.

CAST
The rubber molding which is created from the wax is positioned in a flask of plaster like material. The flask is placed in a furnace which burns the rubber molding/wax completely, leaving an exact negative void of the original molding/wax. Once the Flask is removed from the furnace, they are ready for casting. Silver, gold, and platinum metals are melted and poured into the flask taking on the exact shape of the molding/wax, creating a rough finish of the product for our master jeweler.

MASTER JEWELERS
The final stages of the manufacturing process are done by our master jewelers. All of our master jewelers are skilled in assembling, setting, and polishing which make the ending results astonishing. Here at Coney’s Creations we take pride in customer satisfaction.
